If u compare Krakow to a book, then its title page would be the Royal Way. This was the route into the city taken once by monarchs, their envoys and wealthy merchants’ wagons. We invite you to take this route today.
The route starting at the Barbican fortification and the Florian Gate. The next object on the route is Main Market Square with Cloth Hall and st. Mary’s Basilica. At University district you visit the oldest buildings belong to Jagellonian University: Collegium Maius and Collegium Novum. After that you will pass on the Francyskanska street to the Bishops Palace with John Paul II window - ‘Papal Window’ and visit Fanciscan Church. The final point is Wawel Hill with Wawel Cathedral and Wawel Royal Castle.




2. Cracow walking tour: Christian and Jewish Kazimierz (3 h) Skalka_by_Klara_kus.jpg
Kazimierz was built as independent city next to Krakow in 14 cen. In 15
cen. it was divided into two parts: Christian and Jewish. During the tour you will visit touristic objects from both different cultures: St. Catherine’s Church, Pauline Church with the crypt indicated to eminent Poles, Corpus Christi Church, The Town Hall. At the Jewish side: the Old Synagogue (open for visit), The Remu’h Synagogue and Cemetery (open for visit), the Popper Synagogue, The Tempel Synagogue, Isaac’s Synagogue. During the WWII all the Synagogues were epmtied.




3. Krakow Tour with Jewish District (5 h)
During the tour you will see the old

only by the atmosphere of the city but also by the monumental architecture: St. Mary’s
Basilica, st. Andrew’s Church, Wawel Cathedral etc
During the second part of the tour you get to know about the history of Jews in Krakow, their culture and local traditions. Here you can visit the Remu’h synagogue and one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in Europe.





4. The history of Jews in Krakow: Jews District, the Ghetto and Schindler Factory
(4-4,5h)


This tour will tell you in detail about the tragic history of Jews in Krakow. During the tour you will have the opportunity to be close to the events that took place here over 500 years. The tour consists of three parts: the historical center of Jewish culture -
