Wieliczka Salt Mines Tours in groups and with a personal tour guide

The historic Wieliczka Salt Mine - the world's only mining facility operating without
interruption from the Middle Ages to the present day. The total length of the chambers and
tunnels about 300 kilometers, situated on 9 levels , stretching to a depth of 327 meters, show
all stages of mining equipment in some historical eras. Every year in Wieliczka gets 800
thousand tourists from all over the world. This historic site was recognized as the first miracle
of Poland and leaves no one indifferent. In 1978 in was inscribed on UNESCO list of World
Cultural and Natural Heritage. Salt Mines in Wieliczka is one of the most interesting and
fascinating places in Poland. Visiting is allowed only with a tour guide.

Especially for our visitors and guests, we offer two options for visiting the salt mines in Wieliczka, accompanied by English-speaking tour guide.

1. Touristic route (with a personal guide, or in organised groups).
During the tour you go down to the third level (of nine) to a depth of 130 meters.The route passes through the generation, particularly valuable in the historical and geological relations. You will have a journey through time. Drifts and cameras show the hard work of miners during centuries. Be ready to go down to more than 350 steps. For your needs we can order elevator. Underground there is a constant temperature 14 C all year round .

2. Outside the tourist route.  If you want to feel the real atmosphere of the Wieliczka mine, then we invite you to an unforgettable and full of emotion excursion outside the tourist route.
During the tour you will see the salt landscapes, medieval chambers, tanned man-made  and discover something that was not noticed until you.
Tour is intended for tourists who love outdoor activities, adventure and  thirst for new discoveries and experiences. Together  you will gain new knowledge in theory as well as practical.
Tourists before the tour pass the lecture of safety, and then dressed in helmets and special clothing going down to dark and unexplored depths of the earth.
